Puerto Banús is the rental harbour with the biggest choice in Andalusia and the centre of skippered yachting on the Costa del Sol: 78 companies, all within 500 m of the marina opened in 1970, with 32 advertising motor yachts, 11 jet skis, 10 sailing boats, 6 skippered hire, 5 catamarans and 3 no-licence boats. It is also where the big lengths are: yacht prices here go past €10,000 a day at the top end. From the marina you run east to Marbella and the Golden Mile, 14 km away with 29 more companies, or west to Estepona, 18 km away with 28.

The season runs from April to October, and it is one of the harbours in Spain with the most companies open all year. The coast is open, with no coves or islands: beach cruising with a calm sea most of the summer, and the Rock of Gibraltar as a skippered day trip.

Indicative high-season prices from the directory's reference table, reviewed September 2026: a no-licence motorboat costs €120–250 a day; a RIB of 6–8 m, €250–650; a 10–12 m sailing yacht, €400–900 bareboat or €600–1,500 skippered; a catamaran, €1,000–2,500; a skippered motor yacht, from €900. Expect 20–40% less outside July and August. Deposits run from €300 to €2,000 and fuel is extra. Each company sets its own prices.
