Boat hire in Benicàssim

Benicàssim has 6 km of beach and the Desert de les Palmes behind it, but no harbour, and the Google Maps register returns no boat rental companies based in the municipality. The nearest are in Oropesa del Mar, 7 km away, with 2 companies in the marina, and at the Grau de Castelló, 12 km, with 7. From Oropesa, the Benicàssim coast is a step away: the coves of La Renegà and Les Platgetes, between the two towns, are the usual day trip, with rocky seabed and clear water under 3 miles.

The season runs from April to October, with a breeze on summer afternoons. For sailing boats or skippered hire, Castellón and Valencia, an hour away. The Desert de les Palmes closes the horizon to the west and with a poniente the Benicàssim sea lies flat; with a levante it breaks on the beach and the Oropesa boats stay in.
