Boat hire in Lastres

Lastres is the village stacked above its harbour in the municipality of Colunga, with La Isla and the La Griega beach beside it and the Sueve behind, and one of the most photographed fishing harbours in Asturias; but the Google Maps register returns no boat rental companies based in the village. The nearest are in Ribadesella, 19 km away, with 2 companies, and in Gijón, 30 km, with 16 and the region's big marina. From Ribadesella, the Lastres coast is about 8 miles west, only in good weather.

The season runs from June to September. It is open Cantabrian: swell nearly always, a tide of more than four metres and the Lastres harbour with little shelter from the north-west.
