Boat hire in Castelldefels

Castelldefels is the alternative to Barcelona for a motorboat without the city harbour traffic: 16 companies, 13 of them within 500 m of Port Ginesta, the marina with 1,442 berths and 75 businesses on site according to its listing, at the foot of the Garraf massif and 20 minutes from central Barcelona by car. From here you head for the Garraf coves and Sitges, 15 km away with 23 more companies, or for the Gavà beaches and the Llobregat delta. One company advertises no-licence boats and another skippered hire.

The season runs from May to September, with a calm sea in the morning and the garbí in the afternoon. Barcelona city, 19 km away, has 123 companies if you want sailing boats or catamarans for groups.
