Boat hire in Amposta

Amposta is the capital of the Montsià, on the banks of the Ebro 20 km from its mouth, with a municipal area that reaches the Marquesa beach and the Alfacs bay; but the Google Maps register returns no boat rental companies based in the municipality. The nearest are in Sant Carles de la Ràpita, 9 km away, with 6 companies and the flat water of the Alfacs, the best bay in Catalonia for a motorboat; L'Ampolla, 16 km, has 5 on the Fangar bay. The Ebro is navigable with shallow-draft boats and there are scheduled river cruises from Amposta and Deltebre.

The season runs from May to September. The delta bays can be sailed in any wind; on the open sea, the mistral closes the trips.
