Boat hire in Deltebre

Deltebre is the village at the centre of the Ebro delta, on the riverbank 10 km from the mouth, but the Google Maps register returns no boat rental companies based in the municipality: Deltebre's boating is the scheduled river cruises down to the mouth from the landing stage. For hiring, the nearest companies are in L'Ampolla, 10 km away, with 5 and the Fangar bay, and in Sant Carles de la Ràpita, 16 km, with 6 and the Alfacs bay, both flat, sheltered water. L'Ametlla de Mar, 19 km, adds 5.

The season runs from May to September. The Ebro is navigable with shallow-draft boats and the delta's two bays can be sailed in any wind; on the open sea, the mistral closes the trips. It is one of the parts of Catalonia with the highest demand for boat trips.

Indicative high-season prices from the directory's reference table, reviewed September 2026: a no-licence motorboat costs €120–250 a day; a RIB of 6–8 m, €250–650; a 10–12 m sailing yacht, €400–900 bareboat or €600–1,500 skippered; a catamaran, €1,000–2,500; a skippered motor yacht, from €900. Expect 20–40% less outside July and August. Deposits run from €300 to €2,000 and fuel is extra. Each company sets its own prices.
