Boat hire in Los Alcazares

Los Alcázares is the holiday town on the western shore of the Mar Menor, with 7 km of promenade and fine-sand beaches, the wooden bathing houses over the water and the yacht club; but the Google Maps register returns no boat rental companies based in the municipality. The nearest are on the same lagoon: Santiago de la Ribera (San Javier), 7 km away, with 5 companies, and San Pedro del Pinatar, 12 km, with 17 and the biggest choice in Murcia. From either, Los Alcázares is under 5 miles across flat water, and the Barón and Perdiguera islands are opposite.

The season runs from April to October, with companies open all year thanks to the climate. The Mar Menor can be sailed in any wind with no waves; off Los Alcázares the bottom is shallow and you leave through the channels by the bathing houses.

Expect 20–40% less outside July and August. Deposits run from €300 to €2,000 and fuel is extra. Each company sets its own prices.
