Boat hire in Javea

Xàbia (Javea) has 12 boat rental companies split between the harbour and the Club Náutico, next to the old fishing quarter, and the Fontana canal and Marina Nou Fontana in the Arenal, with berths for boats of 5 to 8 metres. The trip is the coast of the two capes: Sant Antoni to the north, with its marine reserve, and La Nau to the south, with the coves of Granadella, Portitxol and Ambolo, all under 5 miles. One company advertises skippered hire and another sailing boats; the rest is day motorboats and jet skis. Dénia, 8 km away, has 46 companies and is the base for bigger boats and crossings to Ibiza.

The season runs from April to October. The bay of Xàbia is sheltered from the north by Cabo de Sant Antoni and is usually calm in the morning. There are scheduled boat trips to Cabo de la Nau for those who would rather not charter.

Indicative high-season prices from the directory's reference table, reviewed September 2026: a no-licence motorboat costs €120–250 a day; a RIB of 6–8 m, €250–650; a 10–12 m sailing yacht, €400–900 bareboat or €600–1,500 skippered; a catamaran, €1,000–2,500; a skippered motor yacht, from €900. Expect 20–40% less outside July and August. Deposits run from €300 to €2,000 and fuel is extra. Each company sets its own prices.
