Boat hire in Cambados

Cambados is the capital of albariño and a harbour on the southern shore of the Ría de Arousa, between Vilanova and O Grove, with the island of Arousa a bridge away and mussel rafts everywhere, and it has one registered boat rental company, a jet-ski and boat workshop with 20 Google reviews. For more choice, Vilagarcía, 10 km away, has 5 companies and the ría's big marina, and O Grove, another 10 km, 3 and the catamarans to the rafts. From Cambados you sail to the island of Arousa, to Vilagarcía and to La Toxa, in sheltered water.

The season runs from June to September. The ría is the quietest in Galicia, with banks and a tide towards Cambados: you leave at high water and between the rafts.
