Boat hire in Marina Rubicon

Marina Rubicón is the Playa Blanca marina, in the municipality of Yaiza, with the promenade of restaurants and shops, the Saturday market and the excursions information point where, according to its listing, you can ask about boat trips and activities; it is the nautical base of southern Lanzarote, 2 miles from the Papagayo beaches. The company registered in the marina itself is a chandlery that also rents; the big fleet, with 11 companies, no-licence boats, sailing boats and skippered trips, is on the Yaiza and Playa Blanca page, 2 km away, and many leave from the Rubicón pontoons. Puerto Calero (Tías) is 18 km away.

You can sail all year, with peaks in summer and at Christmas. The marina is sheltered from the trade wind; the Bocaina strait, towards Lobos and Fuerteventura, has wind and current in the afternoon.
