Boat hire in Pájara

Morro Jable is the harbour of southern Fuerteventura, with the Gran Canaria ferries and 20 km of Jandía beaches, but the Google Maps register returns no boat rental companies based in the municipality of Pájara: Morro Jable's boating is the catamarans and dolphin-watching boats with fixed departures from the harbour. For hiring, the island's only fleet is in Corralejo, 48 km away, with 4 companies, under 8 miles from Lanzarote. From Morro Jable, with a skipper, you head for the Jandía beaches and the point with the lighthouse, with dolphins and pilot whales common off the coast.

You can sail all year, in the morning and in light wind: the trade winds blow hard at Jandía almost daily and the area's main activity is windsurfing and kiting.

Expect 20–40% less outside July and August. Deposits run from €300 to €2,000 and fuel is extra. Each company sets its own prices.
