Boat hire in San Antonio

Sant Antoni de Portmany is Ibiza's day-boat harbour and the place in Spain with the most no-licence boats: 26 of its 89 companies advertise them, and another 11 offer skippered hire, 8 catamarans and 8 jet skis. The base is the Club Náutico de San Antonio, with 52 companies within 500 m, in a wide, sheltered bay. From the harbour mouth you head north to Cala Salada and Cala Gració, under 3 miles, south to Cala Bassa and Cala Comte, or out to Ses Bledes and Es Vedrà with a licence or skipper; Sant Josep, on the same coast, has 96 more companies and Ibiza town, 10 km away, 84.

The season runs from April to October and many companies close in winter. In July and August the no-licence boats sell out at weekends and Cala Comte fills up before midday. There are scheduled catamarans to Es Vedrà and the sunset for those who would rather not charter.

Indicative high-season prices from the directory's reference table, reviewed September 2026: a no-licence motorboat costs €120–250 a day; a RIB of 6–8 m, €250–650; a 10–12 m sailing yacht, €400–900 bareboat or €600–1,500 skippered; a catamaran, €1,000–2,500; a skippered motor yacht, from €900. Expect 20–40% less outside July and August. Deposits run from €300 to €2,000 and fuel is extra. Each company sets its own prices.
