Guía de Isora is the municipality of Tenerife's west coast between Adeje and Los Gigantes, with Alcalá, Playa San Juan and its fishing harbour, and the luxury hotels of Abama, and its rental offer is a yacht club with sailing activities and trips, with 25 Google reviews. The big fleet is on either side: Los Gigantes (Santiago del Teide), 9 km away, with 8 companies below the cliffs, and Costa Adeje, 14 km, with 34 in Adeje and 7 at Puerto Colón. From Playa San Juan you sail to the Los Gigantes cliffs, about 6 miles north, or to the pilot-whale channel to the south, with La Gomera opposite.

You can sail all year, with peaks in summer and at Christmas. The west coast is sheltered from the trade wind by the Teide and has the calmest sea on the island; in the afternoon the wind comes into the channel.
