Boat hire in Can Picafort

Can Picafort sits at the bottom of the bay of Alcúdia, the longest and most sheltered in Mallorca, and its 9 rental companies work from the Club Nàutic Ca'n Picafort, all within 500 m. It is a day-boat fleet for easy water: two companies advertise skippered hire and one no-licence boats. From the harbour you head east to Son Serra de Marina and the Colònia de Sant Pere, with wild beaches at the foot of the Serra de Llevant, or towards Alcúdia, 8 km away with 38 companies, and Formentor to the north, about 12 miles.

The season runs from April to October and many companies close in winter. The bay is sandy, rock-free and usually calm in the morning; a north wind raises a chop on the southern shore. There are scheduled boat trips to Formentor from Alcúdia for those who would rather not charter.

Expect 20–40% less outside July and August. Deposits run from €300 to €2,000 and fuel is extra. Each company sets its own prices.
